Here are 13 carefully selected locations in Seoul that provide an incredible backdrop for your photoshoot experience.

Each location has been chosen based on its unique charm, stunning views, and versatility for photography. You can select one location for a 50 minutes session, and if you’d like to visit multiple spots, please extend your shooting time or consider booking a pre-wedding package.

Through my extensive experience photographing in Seoul, I’ve discovered that these locations consistently offer the most breathtaking and unforgettable settings for my clients.

If you have a specific location in mind that’s not on this list, feel free to suggest it! Please plan the shooting course and route in advance and share it with me for approval.

The best time slots for your photoshoot are:

  • Early Morning: 8 AM - 10 AM

  • Morning: 10 AM - 12 PM

  • Afternoon: 12 PM - 3 PM

  • Sunset: 3 PM - 6 PM

  • Night: 6 PM - 9 PM

Please note that these time frames may vary depending on the season or any restrictions specific to your chosen location.

The actual shooting plan may need slight adjustments on the day due to factors like crowds, weather, or road conditions.

#1 Bukchon Hanok Village

Bukchon Hanok Village is one of Seoul's most iconic and visually stunning locations, making it an exceptional choice for your photoshoot. This historic neighborhood is renowned for its well-preserved traditional Korean hanok houses, offering a timeless atmosphere that beautifully contrasts with the city's modern energy. Strolling through its charming alleys, you'll experience a unique blend of old-world charm and contemporary vibes.

With my insider knowledge and exclusive expertise, I'll guide you to Bukchon's hidden gems—quiet, picturesque spots away from the usual tourist crowds. This ensures that your photos will capture the authentic essence of traditional Korean culture in a serene setting.

Recommended Time Slots:

  • Morning: 10 AM - 12 PM

  • Afternoon: 12 PM - 3 PM

  • Sunset: 3 PM - 5 PM (Due the new restritions the visit time goes until 5PM)

#2 Gyeongbokgung Palace

A photoshoot at Gyeongbokgung Palace is a must for anyone seeking a truly unique and traditional backdrop in Seoul. As the main palace, Gyeongbokgung offers a majestic and grand setting that perfectly embodies Korea's rich cultural heritage. This iconic location is ideal for creating timeless photos that make you feel as though you've stepped back in history.

Wearing a hanbok (traditional Korean dress) is highly recommended for this experience, as it adds an elegant touch that perfectly complements the palace's stunning architecture. Hanbok rentals are available nearby to complete your look for the shoot.

Important Note:
Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed every Tuesday. On closure days, I recommend Changdeokgung Palace as an equally beautiful alternative for your photoshoot.

  • Morning: 9 AM - 12 PM (Palace opens 9 AM)

  • Afternoon: 12 PM - 3 PM

  • Sunset: 3 PM - 6 PM
